Combining figure drawing, AR, and animation, Hyperdance is an art print of a ballet dancer that comes to life with motion in AR. The physical print depicts the motion of the dancer all at once. Created using digital figure drawing with hand drawn animation, the dancer's movement begins to move when pointing your phone at the print with the Instagram filter. A QR code at the bottom directs people to the AR filter on Instagram. Hyperdance explores the boundary between the physical and digital and how we can use emerging technology with more traditional art forms.
